A private beach escape awaits
Sielen Diva Hotel truly felt like a tranquil oasis, with its beautiful spacious room and the mesmerizing sound of waves lapping against the shore. The food prepared by the passionate chef was a highlight, particularly the exquisite prawn dish he crafted just for us. Each morning began with fresh coffee and fruits, making our stay a delightful culinary journey. We often found ourselves lounging by the warm pool, which felt like our very own paradise.
While our stay was generally wonderful, we did notice a slight issue with the cleanliness in some communal areas that could use improvement. the games room, though well-stocked, lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable during the hot afternoons. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience was nearly perfect.

The ocean view is simply breathtaking 😍! We enjoyed a fantastic in-room massage and loved the little Sri Lankan cooking class. Just wish there was a fridge in the room.

Just a suitable option for a walk in the evening in Talpe with good value for price. The ocean view was amazing, especially at sunset. Consider bringing your own snacks as the food was quite pricey for what you get.

The ocean view from the Mayil, Deluxe Room was stunning, making it easy to wake up every morning and enjoy the sight of the waves. The overall ambiance was relaxing, and I appreciated the spaciousness of the room, which contributed to a comfortable stay.
Still, there were several letdowns that can't be ignored. The pool was admittedly plagued with bugs despite their attempts at cleaning, and the bathtub water was murky, which made the prospect of using it quite off-putting. During my one-night stay in the Eli Kunji, Suite, I encountered cleanliness issues upon arrival, such as sand in the bath and toothpaste on the sink, which required intervention. Dining options were also disappointing. the food was overpriced relative to the portions, and the absence of a fridge in such a hot climate felt like a major oversight.

The hotel features breathtaking ocean views from large floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to wake up to the soothing sound of waves. The spacious pool and beautifully designed common areas are perfect for relaxation, and the staff's warmth and helpfulness made our stay extra special, especially when the manager assisted us with a forgotten phone.
While the overall experience was fantastic, a couple of communal areas could use more attention to cleanliness.

stunning hotel but minor improvements needed
The staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay, especially Hasantha and George, who made our time there memorable by celebrating my partner's birthday effortlessly. The food was a culinary highlight, with the chef preparing exquisite dishes, particularly the flavorful biryani. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, making each morning a visual treat as we admired the waves and lush surroundings.
The overall experience was wonderful, but the communal areas, including the poolside, could use more attention to cleanliness.

the room was really nice with a beautiful view, and we loved the chef's cooking, he was super kind too. the pool area is pretty chill and perfect for relaxing, we also enjoyed the game room with lots of fun games to play. the chef made some amazin pancakes for breakfast that we really liked. the staff was friendly and tried to help when we needed it.
we were overall not satisfied with our stay, the price felt way too high for what we got. also, there were some issues with the service that made it less enjoyable.
